In Alpha Phis defense, they are a newer sorority so they had to meet a quota each year. Now that they are established and can be selected, it is obvious that some girls that received bids do not belong in the sorority or do not represent the letters well. If one of those girls isn't representing their letters well, I would expect nothing less than for them to try and get rid of them. Coming from a similar view in my fraternity, I would do the same. Why keep people who continuously make you look bad when you're trying to better yourself? Fraternities and sororities ARENT charity cases where we accept anyone and keep everyone...there are flaws during the rush and bid process and sometimes it gets out of hand later down the road.
