One of my biggest flaws with the Greek system is certain fraternities and sororities only interacting with select ones. For example, the "top tier" tend to only interact with other top tier and I find that to be a huge problem. I get that you want to keep your status and dont want to "fall in the ranks," because lets be honest, nobody wants that. But if youre so high up already, wont be it difficult for someone to knock you out? especially with sororities. It is a known fact frats can drastically change in just a year, and after 2-3 a fraternity can become top tier with hard work and dedication. But sororities involve a lot more work to "move up" the tier system. I just want everyone in the Greek system to be aware that this isnt high school with cliques, even though thats how it is. Im not asking for everyone to interact with everyone because that is unrealistic, some fraternities and sororities just dont pair well together, that is expected! BUT PLEASE...just because a fraternity or sorority has a a middle tier or low tier, anything but high tier really, type of reputation, dont shun them from everything. Everyone would be so much happier if everyone just gave each one a chance. Judge the ladies &Z men based on how u like them, not the "social status" of their letters. Again I know its unrealistic to get rid of the tier system, but please keep in mind that u might fall in love with another frat or sorority that u dont interact with because theyre not on the same level as u
