"Southern" just refers to a style of dress and a culture, but not all "southerns" are the same. Sigma Chi is preppy; KA is more country. "Southern" doesn't necessarily mean all-white either. Only Sigma Chi and KA are all white. Of the top four major fraternities at FSU, only Sigma Chi is "southern". Pike and Delt are a combination of "southern" and "south Florida", and Phi Sig is almost eclusively south Florida.
