People who express concern about a memorial inevitably show themselves to have some kind of obsession with Ted Bundy. They used to have a memorial in the chapter room, many years ago, to honor their sisters. But it became overshadowed by the negative attention from sick outsiders who were obsessed with the crime. Creepy people were hanging around, obscene phone calls targeted members, ghost tours tried to make the house a stop, and disgusting jokes made about Ted Bundy to chapter members. The victims are remembered and honored appropriately and reverently, and not in a way that doesn't feed into some people's serial killer fetish.
