I agree with the above, except asking girls about 'brotherhood'. Girls don't have a clue about fraternity 'brotherhood'. Men are attracted to the manly things about fraternities. Girls are attracted to entirely different things in sororities. The OP is right: tour every house and don't try to be someone you're not.
