I'm not sure if you're worried that about this for reason 1. Being looked down on for not being rich or 2. Because you don't want to be expected to pay for things. however, I will answer both 1. Most people in frats are not wealthy so I highly doubt they would look down on you. I mean pike is known for having lots of rich kids and wealthy donors but I don't think they would treat you different. 2. When pledging, you will be spending lots of money on things but after you get initiated all you have to pay for is dues. Hope this helps.
