The chapter you are coming from has zero relevance to your affiliation here. You need to check your national's policy on affiliation. Many sororities leave it up to the chapter's discretion to accept a transfer for membership. It may not be automatic. In that situation, it is entirely up to the chapter here as to whether or not you would be considered a good fit. In general, they would require that you meet with exec and maybe have a meal at the house or something, or whatever they determine, and it's up to them. I hope it works out for you, but understand the policy and that you may fit or not. Also, friend groups have already been formed and it may be difficult to find a group to bond with.
