It’s the same as beta. Do you really think you’re going to get a full fraternity pledging experience when you can’t do what a regular fraternity does and has done since the 19th century? Dry houses threaten the culture and existence of fraternities all together. I’ll spell it out further. They’re dry because of a rule but they always break the rule, so eventually one of those times they’ll get caught and they’re gone. Dry houses set a dangerous precedent and have marked the beginning of the end of traditional fraternity life. Frats will become mere social clubs in a few decades… It’s really sad that some nationals have gone this route. A dry fraternity house simply would not exist a few decades ago because no one would join one lmao
