Pledging lifelong fidelity and loyalty to one NPC sorority when you are 18 years old means it's not at all 'weird' nor 'too old' to be in a sorority at age twenty-three. Nor it is 'weird' to be in school for an extra year at age 23. Students of your age had parents that were forced to wait on kindergarten enrollment if a child had not reached a specific age by September first, no exceptions; many kids then graduated as the oldest in their class (and even older if for any reason they repeated a grade!).
