ATO was not the only fraternity that applied. And say what you will, ATO is pretty good. However, I do think 'Fraternity of the Year' (like the Homecoming float) is awarded on the basis of 'fairness' and political correctness. Sigma Chi should be back before too long. They were great and have tremendous alumni support. Chi Phi is better than Figi but Figi is improving. I don't know any DZs and I don't know where they are in the real tier rankings. It's really hard for any sorority to break into the top circle. If you're in the top half at FSU you're probably pretty great.
