I love greek life but I think the absolute worst thing about it is recruitment. Not only for the PNMs but for the sisters as well it is a time where 80% of the women involved question themselves. I just wanted to put this out there that a majority of sororities only put a select group to rush girls to upkeep an image. Meanwhile, the rest of the chapter that doesn't obtain some type of quality that this select group has is forced to sit in a room upstairs all day while other sisters are told to not even come to recruitment. This divides chapters and friendships. Spring PNMS and fall PNMS please keep in mind this if you want a true sisterhood. Would you really want to join a chapter that hides half of their sisters ? Image is not everything. I made this mistake when rushing and I regret it now. I don't want someone who feels this way to be in a chapter that puts image above all, even sisterhood.
