<strong>Subject:</strong><br />greek life is a commitment<br /><br /> Poster Message:
Hey potential greeks or even non-Greeks who are reading this: I just want to let you know that going Greek really is a commitment, depending on which one you join. if its a smaller one, then you obviously have to commit a lot of time. It's also a commitment if you want to be part of the brotherhood or sisterhood. It takes commitment to be social and be involved with everything in the fraternity and greek life in general in order to be part of that brotherhood or sisterhood. If you don't do anything, then brothers or sisters in the chapter will not get to know you and its crucial to build that brotherhood or sisterhood in the first few months. Seriously though, if you have other commitments, Id say to take a look but don't jump right in. If you're in intramural sports and don't want to join greek life though because intramural sports are "filling the schedule", thats just plain dumb. You can still play intramural sports when part of greek life. It really is a great experience but Id say for those who are social or who want to be more social.
