Why do we have the current rush process that we do? From what I understand, bid promising is still a thing at Columbia and many sororities base initial cuts off of appearances instead of personality. This breaks my heart, especially considering how Columbia is heralded as a fairly progressive school that emphasizes diversity and equality.
