I'm in one of the ~two sororities with "bigger girls"~ that you ~didn't have any interest in~ and I find this incredibly problematic. I've been struggling with an eating disorder since my sophomore year of high school, I'm a 00, and im a model, and I'm someone normally be seen as a "tall, beautiful" girl, and never seen for the struggles and the personality behind the face/body. But I chose to be in my sorority because I love activism, women's empowerment, and I could tell that the women in this sorority genuinely care about my mental and physical health, and who I am inside. I'm friends with women in every chapter, and they're all friends with me not for how I look, but for who I am and how I act. I'm friends with beautiful, big, bold, bodacious women in DG, Theta, SDT, and AXO. Trust me, they exist, and they DONT judge you based on how you look. Nobody can ever judge /why/ they weren't invited back to a specific sorority. Sometimes there's more women that the initiated members already know, sometimes there's more legacys than normal, and sometimes you just don't click! You will never know. Normally, however, the policy is that if you got dropped once, you'll get dropped again. You can go through recruitment again, but women are extremely perceptive. They'll know why you're there, so unless you change your attitude about being in one of the other chapters, you're going to have the same experience. I suggest you talk to one of the councillors at Furman or CPS about what you're struggling with, and if you decide to go through recruitment again, I hope you can find a change in attitude. I'm sure we would all love to meet you again, and know that it has everything to do with your conversations and almost nothing to do with your appearance and weight.
