I went through sorority rush after having lost 25 pounds. However, I knew I was still at a higher weight than most of the girls, and I ended up being cut after round one by every sorority I had any interest in. I was invited back by the two known for having "bigger girls" and I am sure you know who. Meanwhile, I saw the girls going into the other sororities and saw absolutely no one that was my size. For reference, I'm 5'3 and 130 pounds, but most of these other girls were a size zero. I ended up dropping out of recruitment because I know that I'm capable of showing a better version of myself next year. I hadn't thought that weight would be such a determining factor. I'm determined to be in those lines of skinny girls going into the sororities I deserve next year and not feel horrible about myself for being too big to get into anything desirable. Twenty more pounds to go and I should be golden right?
