If your sister is involved in her house they are going to know that her younger sister is coming through and, chances are, so will girls in other houses. It will look dishonest if you just "don't mention" your legacy on your registration and rec letters. Better to be open from the start and just let everyone know that you are trying to find your own house and that may not be the same as your sister's. Some houses may cut you anyway. Good luck!
