Offically, no house requires RIFs to participate in recruitment. With such a large number of girls going through this year (1600) it'll be easy for houses to cut you if you don't have a RIF. Nothing personal,mthey just need to get numbers down fast and this is an easy way to do it. Try your hardest to get 1 RIF for each house but don't lose sleep if you couldn't find an alum for a house. Again, offically no one can require a RIF to particpate.
