The expansion process is very rigid. First, the Arkansas' panhellenic would need to decide to open up for expansion. They send this information to National NPC, who then alerts the 26 NPC sororities that Arkansas is open. Interested sororities then submit interest packets explaining why Arkansas should consider them. Arkansas selects 2-3 finalists in the process, who then come to campus and make a presentation. The local panhellenic then chooses one (or more) sororities to colonize on campus.
