You really don't get it. It's not the fact of going to private school. It's about the connections, meaning already knowing each other. Sororities that already have members from certain private schools are naturally going to want the pnm's that they already knew from their schools, and those pnm's are counting on going where their older friends are. And then those girls will get initiated and pull in the next year's, and so on and so on, and this has been going on for years and years. It's not about the quality of the school or the education, it's about the already established social circles. Sororities are not honor societies, they are social clubs for women and they choose their friends first. If your daughter is all that then she will do great in college and be an asset to any group no matter what her (social) letters are.
