This is not true at all. I have so many friends in all the top houses and several of them with zero connections. It is true that most the PNM's who end up at Chi O, Pi Phi, and Kappa were at the spring invite parties, not all of them were. It is just more difficult to get in these top houses because panhell makes them release about 75% of PNM's after the first round.
