girls who are going through rush this august pls pls pls don’t get caught up in ranks. being in a top house might get you social status and make you feel good, but it won’t give you happiness. the right people (boys, friends, etc. )won’t care what sorority you’re in because genuinely it has barely any indication on the kind of person you are. instead of choosing a house you think looks the best on instagram or sounds the best to tell people, look for a house where you can be genuinely happy there! if that’s a top house, cool! if that’s not a top house, also cool! the most exclusive doesn’t equal better. i have had a top tier college experience in a middle tier sorority that is sometimes looked down upon (for no reason in my opinion) and have been genuinely happy with my sorority, with my friends, and with school in general.
