Subject:
Recruitment for PNM's with no connections

Poster Message:
If you are a PNM who does not have connections, you should know a few things before recruitment begins: 1. Be yourself. You will be miserable in a house that you don't feel like you can be your authentic self in. 2. There is no in-person first round this year. That means you won't meet anyone to try to build a connection (rush crush) before houses make their first cuts. The first cuts for the "top" houses (chi o, kappa, pi phi) will be DEEP. They will cut about 70% of PNM's the first round. There were over 2200 PNM's last August and they kept around 600 for second round. 2.You will get to rank houses after you watch the chapter videos first round. You will rank the top 8 you like most all as #1 and then the three you like the least, you will mark in order as #2, #3, and #4. You will have a max of 8 houses for round two. The likelihood you will get back top houses having no connections is close to zero. These houses already know who they want. Be realistic with yourself on how you rank. 3. Arkansas doesn't have bad houses. Don't let this site or other people tell you that one house is better than another. Being in a house with so many diverse women, who did not already all know each other, has been the best blessing. I wish I would have known before I started recruitment.
