I'd say another thing is that PNMs with top house connections are cut too. Just because PNMs have connections to certain houses does not guarantee them a bid. There are a lot of LR and Fay area PNMs who know girls in top houses which can either help or hurt. Two girls on my floor from LR were cut from all the top houses even though they were friends with top house girls in hs. They claim to have been dirty rushed all year and summer.
