It seems to me that girls are getting their feelings hurt without realizing that this is a competition. This isn’t some youth recreational sports team where everyone gets a trophy, or in this case a bid. The sororities want the best girls they can get, and if tons more have a higher GPA than you do, then get over it. Should have worked harder in high school. If the GPAs are tied, then it goes to resume. Which girl kept a 4.0 and did more service related hours? The ones griping because you have friends in that house, and they cut you…maybe they truly aren’t your friend after all? Maybe a member’s mom reminded their daughter about that one time a certain pnm did such and such in high school? Point is, word gets around and with so many going through rush, things can come back and bite you. Respond with all the hate comments, I don’t care. Someone should have told y’all this ahead of time. Recruitment IS a competition.
