Hold up. I get what you’re saying, I do, and for the very top houses it is mostly connections based to get a bid from them. I came from oos and knew absolutely nobody. I went through rush and carried the maximum number of houses allowed for each round, and received a bid to the one I wanted all summer long. No, not a “top sorority” by this site’s standard, but an upper mid one. I’m just saying it can work if you let it and don’t get mad/hurt feelings. There are 400 girls in each house, and you’ve talked to very few of them in person. It’s not fair to judge the entire Greek system off of that.
