I really think you should give the house you get a bid from a chance, but I also understand not really finding your group. My big/little family are some of my best friends but I'm not really that close with many in my chapter. There are hundreds of student organizations you can join to meet people, people in your dorm are probably also seeking friends, ASG is a great place, there are major-specific clubs and honor societies as well. Honestly, I am much closer with the people in my major than the girls in my sorority just because I'm the only person in my PC in my major and I see those people way more than I see my sorority sisters. You will find your place, give Greek life a chance but it is okay if it turns out not to be your place!
