PNMs, I know you are reeling from the cuts you received, are feeling hurt, baffled, and betrayed, and wondering how you can keep doing this. You wonder what went wrong at the houses where you had great conversations and really felt a connection. I am here to tell you that there are actives that you talked to in these houses right now who are feeling the same way. They loved you, they spoke up for you, they wanted you to be their sister and knew you belonged, but it didn't happen. They are hurt and sad and feeling betrayed by their sisterhood, and wondering how they can keep rushing other girls when they feel like this. They don't understand what went wrong either. Please know that you did nothing wrong, that you were admired and wanted, and that you were not simply dismissed and deemed unworthy. Everyone will get through this and settle into new friendships and have lots of fun this semester even though it's hard to see that now. I promise it will all be fine. You are going to be great.
