Panhellenic is prevented from capping recruitment by NPC rules. The school can cap it though, some schools do by GPA, but that's not fair. Sororities are social organizations, not academic honor societies, and having a GPA that is good enough to get into the school should be enough to qualify for sorority membership. There are amazing girls who could contribute a lot to a house without having a 4.0.
