Panhellenic wants as many girls as possible to go through Recruitment. Panhellenic will never be straightforward that you have about a Zero percent chance at getting into certain houses. 2200 girls and only 160-200 girls are going to each of those houses. It is not an equal chance at all. You must know girls in the house or have your family be involved with legacy/financial/political connections. When you look at the big picture, it is MUCH better to be cut at the start, so PNMs can have a Rush that gives them more time getting to know other houses. It's more realistic.
