hi so i’m a pnm this year and since we don’t get to meet the chapters before we do our first round ranking, i was just thinking of ranking the chapters based on their gpas last semester since academics are important to me. Does it really matter how i rank them if i get cut by ones i ranked in the first cluster and then the next choices go back up on my schedule? i’ve heard from friends at other schools that our rankings don’t matter until pref and it’s just something that makes us think we have a say in where we end up.
