If you want a bid to a top house and don’t have connections like how I didn’t, try to do the following: -Interact a lot with their instagrams, follow members and like their pics -get a good recommendation from someone in your community, they don’t have to know you super well but if they do that helps -clean up your insta, have cute posts. Idk how much this matters but it can’t hurt -leadership,volunteer hours, and gpa really matter. -unfortunately looks do matter to some extent -If you click with a member and they really like you then they’ll pull for you so that’s probably the most important thing -Having some “it” factor that a top house is looking for is true. If you have something that they’re looking for to complete their perfect pledge class that they haven’t already found, then they will want you.
