Not what you want to hear but please don’t take it personally. The releases are very much out of the actives hands. You are rated on a point scale, initially based on your resume/gpa and then on your convos throughout the week. You could’ve been .2 of a point away from not being on the release list. I have no doubt the sorority women genuinely enjoyed the convos with you if you felt like you connected so well. They might be bummed you didn’t make the list too. Recruitment sucks, isn’t fair, etc. but please don’t take things personally. It’s all a numbers game unfortunately.
