I have zero connections in KKG and ChiO so I already knew I had no chance getting in, and I’ve heard they already had their first round cut lists made out even before the zoom open house parties. However, that should not excuse those girls from being polite to every single PNM during their zoom meetings. Two of the kappa girls said absolutely nothing to me and they even had me log out early from the meeting. The Chi Omega girls weren’t much better either. I thought these girls were supposed to be sweet, classy Christian girls, but the reality is far different. If the other girls in those “top tier” sororities are anything like their sisters, I’m so happy that I don’t have a chance of getting in. Their behavior was disgusting. If PNM’s can be completely released from recruitment for deliberately being rude or skipping a party, then these chapters should be penalized also. Doubt that will happen however, as I’ve heard that our Greek leadership allows certain favored sororities to get away with pretty much anything. The rest of my first round “parties” went great. Even though I knew I had no shot at getting into the other “top” sororities, their girls were at least polite and pretended to be interested. I’m thrilled with the 6 I had left after round 1, and would consider it an honor to become a member of any of them.
