This. There are some things that you need for events/etc that aren't included in dues. And you're right, sorority life is expensive, unfortunately. Wish it were more accessible to underprivileged girls like myself. I luckily got a full ride here, so I can afford to pay for sorority life. Not everyone in my shoes can.
