The governor passed a law that said it was illegal for masks to be required (except for private businesses) and he says he regrets signing the law. Our acting chancellor is trying to get the law changed so UArk can require masks. So as of right now, they’re not required in class but strongly encouraged. They’re also not required for recruitment but some houses will require them. I do think the law will be changed through so I think we can expect to see mask mandates this fall
