Talk about self improvement and how you didn’t take high school seriously. That u didn’t apply yourself, because of x,y,z and how you wanna be better. Sororities will eat that ish up. That GPA is considered a grade risk, even in the “lower sororities”, so just be honest. Then talk about how you want to be involved in x,y,z in the chapter. You’ll probably have to do more research about EVERY CHAPTER and the events they do. Instagram is a great place to look, as well as the chapter websites. Tell them what you want to be involved in, and why. You’ll have to try a lot harder then other girls for sure. Just because you already have a red flag up. But I know my sorority has people with low GPA’s… so it’s not unheard of. Anyone who says sorority recruitment isn’t surface level sometimes is lying. But GPA is the easiest way for sororities to get their numbers down and become more selective. So work your booty off at open party, AND BE YOURSELF. No one likes a robot.
