THIS ⬆️!! New legacy policies are NOT mandates. If an individual chapter still wants to give preference to legacies, they are free to do so. And it doesn’t mean that alums CANNOT write and send recommendations…just that they may not carry as much weight. Traditional chapters with decades of tradition will probably not change much in the way they deal with legacies. But if they wish, they are free to do so.
