I'm in neither sorority but I thought it would help to have someone else's opinion. BOTH ARE GREAT SORORITIES, just different Zeta-it's like a sorority full of cheerleaders. They're involved with their philanthropy that it sometimes gets annoying. They're HUGE on self image.They love gossip. Not saying all, but some are major alcoholics. If they don't get what they want, they throw a fit. They're pretty but also very materialistic. They're not really focused on grades that much. For example, during homecoming, my zeta friend told me that the president told them "homecoming first, school second" Pi Phi-They have the highest GPA on campus 4 semesters in a row. Very mellow and laid back. Known as the pot smokers (pi beta high). They used to not be involved really, but now they're super involved and winning in a lot of categories. Lots of my friends are Pi Phis and they're some of the nicest girls I know. Very real and not materialistic at all. From looking at my sorority and others, they aren't very strict which is pretty nice because it does get hectic at times and they won't freak out if you miss a couple of hours of community service because of school or something very important.
