howdy! I'm from far away as well and had everything that you have too; grades, involvement, etc. I followed girls on insta and all that jazz and I got cut from the "top 5" right away. to get into those houses you have to know people. i'm in a so called "mid-tier" house and I have never been happier. just trust the process, everything works itself out :)
