This is coming from a completely neutral place. I am not in a middle tier house, so this post is not to be competitive and spiteful. There are some girls that I have met in Alpha Chi that are so consumed by the ranking. It’s like they are jealous that they aren’t a top tier, yet the overcompensate by bringing down other girls that are. An issue I think that belongs in the house and they way things are run is that they think they are better than all the other houses. Not sure if this is rooted in their fake Christian facade or not feeling recognized. They take “holding ourselves to a higher standard too far”, to a point where they 1 have no fun and 2 shame any other lifestyle than picture perfect. Like I said in the beginning this is SOME Alpha Chis, not the majority. But unfortunately it is reflecting upon the entire house sometimes. It is sad because there are so many extremely sweet and kind girls in this sorority that are being overshadowed by the wannabe top house girls.
