My friend and I just saw this are quite surprised kappa would do that. Pi phi would take under quota before offering a snap bid and nationals will just cover the cost. My friend is a zeta and they would offer a snap bids if they could had room for more girls ( they try and keep their dues low by having more girls, while nationals at pi phi wouldn’t allow snaps here at uark) but Zeta is full taking a large pledge class at 126 she said. If you invite back 200 girls to pref ( most top houses don’t invite back quite that many) and after everyone is ranked and placed you still had room than a snap bid could be offered. So in order for kappa to hand out a snap bid they would have had to lose quite a few girls during pref round. I know the tops all lost some to each other but I can’t see Kappa losing enough to give out a snap bid. I would be able to see chi o possibly having to give out snaps this year but I am pretty sure they still got the girls they wanted. So you may want to double check that about kappa. If she did get a snap bid than she probably just barely didn’t make the cut to get invited back to pref.
