Trust me, nationals is not sympathetic to members who can’t afford dues or are going through a hard time financially. They make you sign annual contracts and even if you drop because you can’t afford it, you are still financially responsible to pay dues for that contracted period. If you don’t pay they’ll send you to a collection agency. They may offer a payment plan (it’s usually monthly) but don’t expect financial aid.
