I wanted zeta the whole week. I had one friend from high school in there but also wanted them for my personal connection to their philanthropy and other silly reasons such as their colors, loved the house and just liked the way ZTA looked on a shirt. 😂 I had a good rush to be honest and on pref I had zeta and another top five house. 100 percent I knew I was going to open my bid card and it say zeta. It didn’t. It was the other house. Ok not going to lie..... everyone was jumping up and down around me and it was all I could do to not bust out crying. I pretended I was happy like other girls around me I am ( trust me not everyone gets their first choice on bid day) and tried to make the best of it. It took me a couple of months to not be sad. But pnm’s please listen!!!! It will be ok!! I have lots of zeta friends. My sorority still has the same functions ( although a different names) and when we would all go to frat houses my we were not allowed to wear our letters so who cares what they were! I love the house I am in and am happy. I like to come tell my story close to bid day because I know this will happen to some of you. It will be ok!!
