Hi, NOT a troll here! Personally I didn’t know much about recruitment so like everyone else I really wanted Kappa & Chi O coming in. After I was cut the first round (like most) I was really bummed especially since I felt like I had a good resume, looks, and 4.0, but I did have one top 5 house left so I set my sights on them! I was convinced I would rush them but was unfortunately not invited back for pref. On pref I had a house that I had a few friends in and I had a house that I hadn’t even thought about all week. Oddly enough, it rained on my pref and I got stuck at the house of my “bottom” choice for like 5 hours. While I was there I realized I would love to call this place home, so I pledged that chapter! I had a really difficult first year making friends, but my big really helped. During my sophomore year I joined a few committees that I was interested in and made a lot of friends that way! I LOVE my chapter now and I’m so glad things worked out the way they did! I know “trust the process” is an annoying phrase, but it really is true!❤️
