I hate to burst your bubble, but the sororities have always chosen their new members with not as much influence by the PNM’s. I would guess that 75% of the mutual selection process favors the chapters. With the first couple rounds being virtual, it will definitely seem like the chapters have more input, but it really isn’t any more than in the past. With the summer contact rules being thrown out the window this year, you actually might have more of a chance of getting on their radar than in a traditional recruitment. Make sure your social media is cleaned up and public, follow ALL of the houses on Instagram, research their values & philanthropies & reach out or DM the ones that seem like they line up with your values.
