This is sooo true! I think the majority of girls do NOT pair with two top ( as in top five) houses for pref. So much is about connections that if one of the top houses thinks you may pledge someone else (for example pi phi may cut a kappa legacy assuming the pnm is going on another direction) they will cut you. Yes some girls have two desired houses and a difficult decision but the vast majority of pnm’s do not have a hard choice when it comes to who to pref or how to rank after pref night
