Of course you do not! The awesome part about college is the new found independence and the ability to make your own choices. I’m in a sorority on campus and dating someone who is not in a frat... and no one questions it. You date who you date, and you love who you love. People should not judge you for it (if they do then they aren’t a very good person)... frat or not. Also not everyone in a frat is “as seen on TV” and you will learn that as you get more engulfed within campus because there are some really sweet and respectful guys.
