You’ve gotten bad info ^^^. According to the MRABA (Pref Card) you signed on Pref night, if you got a bid and decline or drop before initiation, you are ineligible to participate in any informal or formal rush activities for one year. So if you drop before initiation, you can’t rush again until Fall 2020 and you can’t do spring or fall COB. Your very best chance at ever going Greek is the bid you got. Try to make the most of it. Meet up with your pledge sisters. Hang out with your big. Make study dates or coffee dates. Arrive early for meetings and go to every single event you can. If you give it your all until initiation week and you still haven’t made ANY friends, then drop right before initiation. But don’t drop now. Your emotions are high from rush not going your way and not being happy with your bid. If you drop it’s likely you’ll never get another bid so just be sure you’re really ok with that outcome.
