Wanted to start a thread so girls could understand a bit how COB works. COB is continuous open bidding and happens mostly in the spring but some houses do it right after fall formal recruitment also. Keep in mind that not all houses do COB! Spring 2019 the houses that did were AXO, ADPi, AOPi, DG, Zeta, and Phi Mu. COB is used to add more members in case too many dropped or something similar. The best way to get invited to COB (yes you must be invited, you can’t just show up) is to meet some girls in each chapter who would recommend you for it, or to reach out to Greek life. COB is much less formal, for example, some houses have an ice cream social where you meet ladies in the chapter to start COB. Good luck ladies!
