It’s way more common for PNM’s (who think quite highly of themselves) to drop out because they didn’t get invited back to top tier chapters and then either lie and say they were dropped or they didn’t feel a “connection” with the houses they had left. Getting totally dropped from rush is pretty rare - as pp’s said you have to have horrible grades or a bad reputation to get totally dropped early week. If you make it to Pref and don’t suicide, you are guaranteed a bid to one of your pref houses.
